Embrace the chaos.
Sometimes when we start meditating a lot, we can start to notice that our mind chatter has actually intensified instead of lessening. It seems that our mind is talking more than ever!
What is going on?
Instead of trying to suppress the mind chatter, let go.
Don't judge, but allow the mind chatter to happen.
Embrace it, allow it happen.
If you judge and say that all this chatter is wrong, bad, your meditation technique is not working, this is yet another strategy of the mind.
Mind is very clever at dividing itself.
Mind has its own self-preservation "in mind" at ALL times, hence mind must recreate itself in every moment in order to exist.
When mind chatter increases, be glad. When mind chatter decreases or ceases, be glad.
Either way, do nothing.
Watch the mind chatter and all its noise like a watcher on the hills, as if you were watching a whole slew of clouds passing in the sky.
My, what a show! What a show indeed...
Take it as a "good" sign that mind is releasing a lot of its "trash." False personalities and false ways of being are falling away. Let them have their final voice...
Keep watching, keep witnessing...and let it be.
It shall come to pass and skies will be blue once again.
For now, enjoy the show as you enjoy all else and continue witnessing...
