These simply spooktacular black cookies are a healthy treat and boast using antioxidant-rich black sesame seeds and honey. Maca gives them a slight caramel feel but can be omitted.
Since these cookies are soft and must be kept in the freezer before serving, you could add in some sprouted buckwheat or almond flour to help them retain their shape better. Store them in the freezer or fridge before serving. Feel free to add in more sweetener as needed.
For a sugar-free version, consider using Lakanto. Add in a bit of non-dairy milk or water so that the dough sticks together, then roll and shape into balls.
As always, Enjoy :)
