*Juicer OR High Speed Blender + Nut Milk Bag Required*
• 1 handful chopped kale leaves
• Stems from 1 bunch kale
• 5 oranges, peeled & seeded
• 1-2 cups water, for consistency, if using Blender Method
As with the other juice recipes, juice kale leaves, kale stems and oranges. OR you can use a blender and blend the ingredients with water, then pour through a nut milk bag.
Alternatively, if you'd like to use a manual orange juicer, juice the oranges and add the juice to the blender with the kale stems and leaves. Blend, adding in more water as needed, and strain using a nut milk bag.
Kale stems can be a bit too fibrous to eat, even when cooked, but they are great when juiced.
Kale stems have some sass! Yet their bite is smoothed out with lovely, sweet oranges.
This is a simple but delish recipe.
Feel free to experiment and pair sassy kale stems with other fruits to add a lil kick to your juices :)
