Mix first 6 ingredients together in a bowl or food processor. Add spirulina to color the dough green; the more you use, the greener your dough will be.
To make the finger cookies, take a bit of dough and roll between your palms, then shape it to look like a finger. You can also shape the dough thickly and make it into a thumb.
For nails, press white slivered almonds into the dough. Use a small paint brush and paint with beet juice for bloody nails or mix a bit of spirulina and water together for green nails. You can also use whole brazil nuts to look like fungus nails, while cashew nuts look like curved nails.
Finally, use a knife and make a few horizontal lines where the knuckles should be.
Despite the poor quality of the photo, it does show what these creepy, no-bake finger cookies look like.
You can make them short, long, thin or thick.
The dough can be left uncolored, made green with spirulina (or even chlorella or chlorophyll) or red using beet powder.
Variation: Maca gives these cookies a caramel-like taste, but mesquite could be used instead. Alternatively, you could omit the maca entirely.
Variation: if you'd prefer a sugar-free cookie, consider using 1/2 cup of Lakanto or more to sweeten, then add in enough non-dairy milk or water so the dough sticks together. Shape into cookies and add nails.
As always, Enjoy :)
