Blend ingredients in a blender to a smooth consistency and serve. Store remainders in the fridge for 1-2 days.
Classic green smoothie recipe using pears and bananas. The apples give it extra sweetness and the variety of apple used will yield different tasting smoothies. Feel free to use other types of pears as well, such as Bosc or Asian and to try other leafy greens such as spinach, chard, collard or a combination.
Variation:juice the kale and apples. Add juice to a blender and blend in the bananas and (peeled & cored) pears. Mmm, smooth!
