CF, DF, EF, FF, GF, GRF, MF, NUTF, SALF, SOYF, SUF, YF
*Requires Blender + Nut Milk Bag OR Juicer*
• 1/2 bunch lettuce
• 4 pears, seeded
• 2 apples, cored
• 2-3 cups cold (refrigerated) Green Tea, for consistency
Juice ingredients and add green tea to your taste. Top with ice.
Alternatively, blend ingredients with the green tea in a blender; then strain using a nut milk bag. Pour over ice for a refreshing drink on a hot summer's day!
I came up this recipe on a hot one, and found it reminiscent of ice tea, hence the name.
Variation: Turn this recipe into a delish smoothie by blending the apples and pears (peels removed if you like) with the lettuce and green tea.
