CF, DF, EF, FF, GF, GRF, MF, NUTF, SALF, SOYF, SUF, YF
Slightly pack the fresh flowers into the mason jar. Add the water to cover the flowers (about 4 cups), then let sit 15-30 minutes. Strain. Sweeten with stevia to taste. Serve as is, or serve cold (refrigerated and/or with ice).
Variation: If you like, you can dry the flowers first, then add 1 ounce (1-2 cups) to the mason jar. Add water, put on lid and screw cap and let sit 8 hours before straining. This standard infusion will yield a much stronger carroty taste than the sun tea. Again, you can sweeten with stevia and serve hot or cold.
Note that if you aren't keen on the carroty taste, both the sun tea and infusion do make for lovely carrot-inspired stocks for soups and stews :)
